The level is only determined for increase type A (feature AVSTG)

Diagnosis

In infotype Basic Pay (0008) you pressed the button Copy Automatic Level so that the system determined the employee's level. However, the system cannot calculate the level for the selected employee. There are two possible reasons for this:

  • Feature AVSTG (HR-PS AT: Increase) is not maintained correctly. Return value A must be entered in this feature for contractual civil servants for the use of automatic increase.
  • The screen control for infotype Basic Pay is not defined correctly. Button Copy Automatic Level must not be displayed for this employee as he or she is not a contractual civil servant.
