Diagnosis

No export registration number exists for the transit item.

Transit declarations require that a reference be specified for the export transaction, namely the customs declaration number. There are two ways to transfer this data in SAP GTS.

In the first scenario, a document flow exists between the customs declaration and the customs shipment; the export registration number is copied to the header automatically as a submitted document. In this case, the system generates exactly one item with this registration number during outbound processing.

In the second scenario, all transit items are entered manually. In this case, you have to maintain the export registration number for each item.
