Diagnosis
The system created virtual item for communications with the customs authorities, due to a split in item . The system does not display this generated item in the customs declaration or customs shipment. It is used only in communications with the customs authorities in line with their requirements.
When you navigate from the message to the incompleteness log, the system takes you to the original item. To see the generated item, you must display the IDoc.
The system generates the virtual item in the following split situations:
- Supplementary items
You have entered a document item as supplementary items of another document item and also entered additional quantities of that item in separate packages. The system has to declare the supplementary packages in a separate item for communication with the customs authorities.
- The number of packages in an item exceeds the maximum allowed number
- The number of export licenses in an item exceeds the maximum allowed number
