The fallback number does not exist.

System Response

Procedure

You activated a fallback procedure and the current document is in this fallback procedure. A fallback number must be assigned in addition to the fallback procedure. This number is unknown at the present time and must be added to the document subsequently.

To do so, proceed as follows:

  • Enter transaction code /SAPSLL/EMCNO_ADMIN.
  • First specify the country to which the number of the fallback procedure applies
  • Then create a fallback number and enter the start and end dates
  • Save your entries
  • Enter transaction code /SAPSLL/EMCAS_ACTIV and assign the fallback number to the fallback procedure
  • To add the fallback number to the document subsequently, you have to cancel the document for the fallback procedure, using the monitoring transaction for inbound and outbound activities for the Customs or Transit area. After the cancellation, use the same transaction to add the document to the fallback procedure.
  • After you add the fallback number, all new documents for the fallback procedure created from this point are assigned the fallback number automatically.
