Diagnosis
Permitted scrap quantity under reference number exceeded.
System Response
The associated customs declaration for scrapping was selected under reference number . The quantity specified in this customs declaration is regarded as the maximum quantity to be scrapped. The total of all the existing closing portions for the customs declaration and the current quantity under the above reference number must not exceed the quantity specified in the document.
Situations such as these can occur if the quantity entered in the feeder system is incorrect. Pay particular attention to scrapping procedures that were carried out using several partial quantities.
Procedure
- First check the document quantity in the associated scrap document. The number of the document is from year . Compare this quantity with the quantity that you want to scrap. If the quantity in the document is less, reverse the goods movement and create a new one with the correct quantity.
- If the quantity in the document is greater, scrapping probably involves a partial quantity.
- To determine the quantity already scrapped, select the "Completed Transactions" worklist with the reference number. The difference between the total number of transactions displayed here and the document quantity must not be greater than the quantity currently to be scrapped.
