Diagnosis
If fewer business partners than expected have been transferred, take note of the following solutions.
System Response
Procedure
In the target system (of the entered RFC destination) go to the "Log for Business Partners" Transaction, by choosing "General Settings and System Communication" -> "Monitoring" -> "Logs for Transfer from Backend System". In the "Log for Business Partners" Transaction, enter the period for which you want to display transfer logs.
The system displays all the logs that have been stored for the transfer of business partners. You can identify the run in question from the date and time. If you expand the hierarchy until the error is displayed, you can identify the cause from the error text.
You should also check that:
1. System communication has been set up in the source system (definition of RFC destination) and in the target system (assignment to a group of logical systems)
2. The number ranges are configured correctly
3. The business partner in the source system has been created with external number assignment (can be identified from the number range used).
