Diagnosis
To properly upload data from files into the SAP GTS system, the file names are assigned according to a specific nomenclature specification. This nomenclature specification is checked when the data is being uploaded if the 'Nomenclature Check Active' indicator is set in the 'General Control Parameter' block. This means that the relevant file name is checked with regard to the nomenclature specification.
System Response
If the check is active and the name does not conform to the nomenclature specification, the system does not allow you to upload the data.
Procedure
We strongly recommend that you activate the nomenclature specification as this activates the file name check. If the indicator is not set, problems can occur. If you want to upload a number of files, the system only takes account of the correct sequence and version if the nomenclature specification is active.
