Diagnosis
When defining a number system, you need to specify which type of numbers are used in this system. The following types of number systems are recognized by SAP GTS:
Code Text
001 Import control classification numbers
002 Export control classification numbers (AL, ECCN)
101 Import code numbers (ECL)
102 Commodity codes (KN, Schedule B)
801 Common Agricultural Policy numbers
999 Not specified
If a numbering scheme is uploaded to SAP GTS, a distinction should be made between whether the corresponding scheme already exists in the system or whether it is to be created automatically.
If the numbering scheme already exists, the system checks whether the type of scheme defined in the system is the same as the type of scheme uploaded. If this not the case, processing is cancelled.
If the numbering system does not already exist in the system, the system checks whether the type of number system uploaded exists as a value of domain "/SAPSLL/CTSTY". If not, processing is cancelled.

Processing is cancelled.
Procedure
Check the type for the relevant numbering scheme. If no corresponding numbering scheme exists in SAP GTS, contact your data provider.
