Diagnosis
The system could not start number assignment because it could not determine the relevant document at item level to which the numbers are to be assigned.

Procedure
Check your settings in the Implementation Guide (IMG) and ask your system administrator to make any necessary changes.
Procedure for System Administration
The following settings are needed in the IMG:
- In activity Assign Customs Code Lists Procedure to Legal Regulations, assign a customs code list for the legal regulation and object Type of Previous Document / Document / Certificate
- In activity Maintain Customs Code Lists for Legal Regulation, make sure only one document with document category INF2 is defined for customs code list Type of Previous Document / Document / Certificate.
