Interval '&1' for number range object /MAP/EVOCC does not exist
Help Document

Diagnosis

The system was unable to create a key for the new event occurrence.

The system attempted to use the number range interval of the number range object /MAP/EVOCC. This interval does not exist.

System Response

The system terminates processing.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

Procedure for System Administration

Before you edit the number range interval, you must decide if you want to implement the distribution scenarios for the event data. Distribution scenarios export event data that were edited in a particular system to another system.

To prevent duplicates of the event occurrence keys, ensure that number range intervals used do not have overlapping validity periods in the relevant systems.

Take the following into account when using distribution scenarios:

  • If you do not want to implement any distribution scenarios, you can select the number range intervals that you used in such a way that the entire range from 0000000001 to 9999999999 is used to full capacity. Decide if you want to use an as yet unused number range to create an additional event at a later date.
  • If you want to implement distribution scenarios, you must take the following into account:
    • In all involved systems, you must have created a number range interval with the same number for each event. This requirement must be fulfilled, because a fixed relationship is created between event and number range interval when Customizing for the events is transferred to all involved systems.
    • The number range intervals must not overlap in the involved systems. This applies to intervals with the same and different names.
    • Example:
For each number between 0000000001 and 9999999999, a maximum of one system and one number range interval can contain this number.
      Note:
If this is not the case, data inconsistencies may arise.

Edit the number range interval in transaction SNRO.

Note:

It is not absolutely necessary to create different number range intervals for different events. However, we recommend that you choose this procedure for performance reasons.

When creating number range intervals, take into account the expected number of event occurrences whose numbers will be in the respective number range intervals.
