Create a non-numeric assortment

Diagnosis

You attempted to create a new assortment within the assortment definition. The ID of this new assortment is numeric. At the same time, an integration scenario with an ERP system is active for the message type ASRTPRDVRSM. This means that the system may transfer the new assortment to the ERP system. However, entirely numeric assortments are processed differently in the ERP system, as the assortment has the conversion routine ALPHA in the ERP. For this reason, numeric assortments technically have different IDs in a BI system than in an ERP system.

System Response

If an integration scenario with an ERP system is present, you cannot create numeric assortments in the BI system. Saving is not possible.
