Diagnosis
Only deactivated accounts may be deleted. The account selected has the status Active so the system has terminated the processing.
System Response
Procedure
If you want to set the deletion indicator, deactivate the RBD account first. You do this as follows:
- Choose transactionChange Value Adjustment Account.
- Enter the RBD area, the RBD account number and the relevant valuation method and choose Enter to confirm your entries.
- Choose the menu option Edit -> Account Status. The system displays a dialog box:
- Activate -> The account status remains unchanged at Active.
- Deactivate -> The account status for the RBD account is changed to Inactive. This is only possible if the account no longer has any value adjustment positions.
- Cancel -> The account status for the RBD account remains unchanged.
- If you have changed the account status you can then set the deletion indicator for the RBD account.
