Diagnosis

Either no business domain has been assigned to the data basis or no RFC destination has been assigned to the logical system name.

System Response

Check your settings. If these seem to be OK, check the availability of the assigned BW system or of the remote source system. If this system has been switched off or you cannot connect to it for some other reason, this could also be the reason for this message.

If you are not using a remote system as the master data source system, ensure that there is nevertheless an RFC destination to the logical system identifier. A correct RFC destination for local systems is an empty entry in the RFC destination field.

Procedure

Make any missing Customizing entries, or check that you can connect to the assigned Business Warehouse or to the remote source system.
