Restrictions when using MultiProviders
Help Document
Diagnosis
For an accounting view, you are summarizing various InfoCubes in a MultiProvider. The following applies here:
- It is not possible to call up line items from a report on the MultiProvider.
- It is possible, however, to call up the line item from the individual InfoCubes (provided that targets have been set accordingly in Customizing for BW). However, the system then displays all line items that match the report's selection criteria, irrespective of whether they are contained in the selection of the InfoPackages with which the InfoCube was provided with data. This means that more line items are displayed than expected. In this case, it is still necessary to define the key figures (contribution margins and the like) separately in each of the InfoCubes and the summarizing MultiProvider. This results in a consistency problem.
Note
This message is also issued if you make a typing mistake when entering the name of an InfoCube.

Procedure
