Diagnosis

AII cannot process the message because it does not have a mapping for this message type.

System Response

AII logs an exception.

Procedure

  1. Define the message mapping type in the IMG under Auto-ID Infrastructure -> Master Data -> Device -> Define Device Controller Types
  2. Select the Device Controller (DC) type of the DC that sent the error-generating message (double-click on the error message to find the DC).
  3. Complete the message mapping by following the instructions for the IMG activity Define Device Controller Types.
