Diagnosis

The system could not activate the database table due to errors in Customizing settings.

System Response

Procedure

  1. In Customizing for Auto-ID Infrastructure, select Basic Settings -> ID Settings -> Maintain ID Types.
  2. Select your ID type and choose Encoding Type in the navigation tree on the left.
  3. For your encoding type, note the entry in the Profile Name column. This refers to the element set used for the combination of ID type and encoding type.
  4. In Customizing for Auto-ID Infrastructure, select Basic Settings -> ID Settings -> Maintain ID Profile.
  5. Check for errors in the element set that corresponds to the profile name of your ID type and encoding type. For example, the name of an element can be invalid or there can be an inactive data element. You maintain element sets in Customizing for Auto-ID Infrastructure under Basic Settings -> Data Profile Settings -> Maintain Element Sets and Attributes.

Procedure for System Administration

Try to activate database table manually.
