Help Document
Diagnosis
The tag encoding type (specified in the user interface or in rule configuration in Customizing) is GTIN-based. However, the system could not determine a GTIN because:
- The GTIN was not specified in the input, either via the user interface (UI) or an XML message.
- A product and unit of measure was not specified in the input.
- A GTIN has not been maintained for the product and unit of measure specified.
- A GTIN was not specified in the document context.
System Response
The system logs an error message.
Procedure
Either specify a GTIN, a product and unit of measure, or you can specify the GTIN in the document .
If you intend to print a tag for a different encoding type, either specify it in the UI (for manual tag commissioning) or in rule Customizing (for automated tag commissioning).
