GTIN in message, but rule configured to create &1-based ID

Diagnosis
This is a Customizing error : You have not configured the rule to create the ID based on GTIN.
System Response
The system logs an error message.
Procedure
- Determine the name of the rule from the log. This information will be in a message several messages before the error message.
- In Customizing for Auto-ID Infrastructure, select Activities, Conditions, Rules, and Message Types -> Rules -> Define Rules.
- Set the parameter EPC_TYPE of the activity DEVICE_CREATE_EPC_TO_WRITE to SGTIN-64 or SGTIN-96.
We recommend that you copy the rule and make the changes to the new rule. You then set the condition in Customizing so that the new rule is triggered.
