Documentation
Definition
Flag with which you can define article hierarchy assignments as logically deleted.
If the deletion flag is set, this means:
- Assigned materials are still available in transactional processes (such as purchase order and sales)
- The node assignment to delete cannot be assigned any new materials
- Node assignments in the material hierarchy to delete cannot be assigned any new nodes
The deletion flag does not necessarily mean that the element will automatically be deleted physically. For this to occur, you have to do the following:
- Reassign materials or delete the material assignments themselves
- Materials that are still assigned to other nodes can be removed from the node to delete or be deleted themselves
- Subordinate nodes at higher levels have to be reassigned or deleted
- Reference assignments must be deleted or changed
The deletion flag only refers to the involved material hierarchy assignment; it is not passed on to subordinate node/material assignments.
Use
The flag simplifies maintenance in the dialog transaction by setting the end of the assignment validity date to the current date. The flag is not saved physically.
