Documentation
Definition
Number of reporting periods for which the average opportunity interest rate should be calculated.
Use
- When maintaining a costing rule, if the user chooses the option of calculating the opportunity interest rate as the average of an interest rate from the interest tables, he must define what interest term is to be taken (e.g. 3 month interest rate) and for what time interval the average should be calculated (e.g. 12 months).
- If you wish to determine the opportunity interest for core deposit products, you must define with the number of reporting periods the maximum historical weighting.
