Use
In this IMG activity, you can display, create, change, and delete follow-up categories.
The follow-up categories contain the names of the follow-on category and control parameters for processing the follow-up/replacement material names.
You can select the following control parameters for follow-up categories:
- List field Follow-Up Category
- Flag Priority
- Flag Validity
- List field Check Cycles
- List field Check Listing Conditions
When you create a new follow-up category, all the fields are ready for input.
If you want to change existing follow-on categories, the following restrictions apply:
- Field Follow-Up Category Number cannot be changed
- Only limited changes to the follow-up category name are possible
- List field Follow-Up Category cannot be changed
- Flag Priority
If the flag not set, you can set it. However, once the flag is set, you cannot reset it; the field is not ready for input in this case.
This is because overlapping intervals can occur if the priority of follow-up/replacement material relationships is not taken into account.
- Flag Validity
If the flag not set, you can set it. However, once the flag is set, you cannot reset it; the field is not ready for input in this case.
This is because multiple follow-up/replacement material relationships can exist for the same original material if the validity is not used as a differentiation criterion.
- List field Check Cycles
If the value Error is selected, you can change the setting. If the value Warning or No Check is selected, you cannot change the setting; the field is not ready for input in this case.
You can make the cycles check less restrictive, but not more restrictive.
- List field Check Listing Conditions is always available
When you delete a follow-up category number, the entries for that follow-up category number have to be deleted from table WRF_FOLUP_TYPT, follow-up category relationships.
Deleting follow-up category numbers can result in inconsistent data if follow-up/replacement material relationships still exist for this follow-up category number in table WRF_FOLUP_TYP_A.
