Use

In this IMG activity, you make the system settings that define the permitted business transactions in the Other Goods Movements subfunction in the Goods Movement application in the SAP Retail Store. The business transactions that are entered here are displayed in a dropdown list on the entry screen when the input help for the Business Trans. field is called.

Proceed in three steps: In the first step, you define the business transactions that you want to use. Secondly, you create grouping schemas that group certain business transactions. Maintain other control parameters for the process flow of the maintenance transaction and for posting for each of the business transactions that is assigned to a grouping schema. Thirdly, you assign the grouping schemas to the plants in your company so that the groupings take effect when the application is used in the plant concerned.

To simplify the assignment to plants, one grouping schema is defined as the standard, which is then called automatically for any plants that have not been assigned a grouping schema.

Activities

Proceed as follows in this step:

  1. Define the business transactions that are relevant for the Other Goods Movements subfunction in the Goods Movements application.

While the alphanumerical key is only used to identify the business transaction internally, the description maintained for the business transaction is used in the maintenance dialogs, that is, in the named dropdown list.

  2. Define one or more grouping schema(s) depending on whether the requirements of the business process are the same or different in your plants.

Assign the required business transactions to each grouping schema and maintain the additional control parameters for each business transaction.

  3. Flag a grouping schema as standard on the overview screen of the grouping schemas.

You must set this flag even if you only use one grouping schema.

  4. Assign the grouping schemas to your plants.

You do not need to make an entry for plants that are to use the standard grouping schema.
