If you select this field, the system calculates the taxes automatically during simulation or posting.

Use
If you activate this indicator, the tax is calculated gross or net depending on the setting in transaction FB00 (or in the editing options).
The net amounts can also be calculated and displayed using the pushbutton Propose net.
If the setting Calculate gross is active, the tax amounts calculated are not displayed after simulation.

Procedure
If you select this indicator, the system calculates tax on sales and purchases on the inflation adjustment amounts.
Otherwise, the system still applies a tax code but does not calculate any tax.
