Definition

If the database indicator is set when entering changes in investments
or changes in investee equity, the book values in the totals file are
selected.

This can be useful if you want the consolidation of investments to be
influenced by the standardizing entries as well as the consolidating
entries that affect net income by way of retained earnings.

When configuring the method, you must determine which entries, if any,
are to be included in the selection:

• Local valuation
  Only the individual financial statement values are included in the selection.
  
• Corporate valuation
  The individual financial statement values and the standardizing entries are selected.
  
• Corporate valuation and consolidating entries
  The values of the individual financial statement, the standardizing entries and the consolidating entries are selected.
