Documentation
Definition
States that you are allowed to create the A/R summary in this system/client.
This indicator is set in the system/client in which central financial accounting is run.
Example
Distributed scenario
The following settings would be appropriate in a local SD system:
- Read A/R summary: Yes
- Read A/R summary from non-SAP system: Yes or no
- Yes: The system tries to make the current data from the FI system available using Remote Function Call (RFC) if the A/R summary does not exist or is outdated.
- Create A/R summary: No
The following settings would be appropriate in a central FI system:
- Read A/R summary: Yes or no
- Yes: Before the current data (open items, dunning data, and so on) is read from the database, the A/R summary is read and, if it exists and is not outdated, the inquiry is answered much more quickly.
- Read A/R summary from non-SAP system: No
- Create A/R summary: Yes
- You need to specify the corresponding distribution parameters when creating the A/R summary (program RFCMCRCV).
Non-distributed scenario
If you only use the A/R summary for performance optimization and not for modelling a distributed scenario, the following settings would be appropriate:
- Read A/R summary: Yes
- Read A/R summary from non-SAP system: No
- Create A/R summary: Yes
- You should select the No distribution parameter when creating the A/R summary (program RFCMCRCV).
