Definition
Has the effect that the cash desk clearing account is displayed in the cash desk or in the cash journal. Setting this indicator enables you to enter the cash desk clearing account.
Use
For the cash desk, maintain the cash desk clearing accounts in the database table TFK100D. The system determines the valid cash desk clearing account in accordance with the company code and payment category.
Dependencies
If the cash journal is active, meaning that you can only call the cash desk from the cash journal, you also have to maintain database table TFK100D. In posting area 0150 (Specifications for Posting Cash Desk Differences) or 0160 (Cash Desk Clearing Accounts, Deposit and Withdrawal Accounts), you also define which cash desk clearing accounts are valid for which branch.
If the system determines a unique cash desk clearing account, the cash desk clearing account is not displayed if you have made the setting accordingly. However, if the system cannot determine a unique cash desk clearing account for a specific payment category, this appears as an input field.
