This means that the business partner has been created in a sales area that has been assigned to the current sales area group.
If this indicator is not selected, the business partner has only been created in one or more sales areas that have not been assigned to the current sales area group.
What is a 'current sales area group'?
Various sales areas can be assigned to a sales area group. The sales area is used to define the 'current sales area group' in an application.
- The sales area entered on the selection screen defines the sales area group in central access.
- The organizational data entered when classified order entry was accessed defines the sales area group here.
- The sales area group is maintained in the Customizing table used for business partner processing in the Customer Interaction Center.

- Define sales area group for business partner selection:
-> Advertising Management -> Sales -> Order -> Settings for Specific Sales Areas -> Define Sales Area Group for BP Selection - Assign sales area group for business partner selection:
-> Advertising Management -> Sales -> Order -> Settings for Specific Sales Areas -> Assign Sales Area Group for BP Selection
