Documentation
Definition
Interest rate for calculating the interest for incoming and outgoing payments.
Use
Profit simulation can take account of interest lost and interest gained.
The following method is used to calculate interest:
- The interest for the first demand or liability is calculated linearly up to the time of the next payment.
- For the next time interval, the interest for the balance of the payments received or made up to the relevant point in time is calculated linearly.
- The method ends at when the last payment is made.
Field Calculating date of payment is used to control the calculation of the expected date of payment.
If you do not want to take account of interest, enter an interest rate of 0%.
Example
Payments for agency business are generally made at different times. If, for example, the vendor must be paid first, and the customer later, interest is lost.
