Documentation
Definition
The pricing type controls updates of document conditions on tha basis of changes to fields defined in the price change group.
Use
When evaluating the price change group, the system checks whether changes to fields are present and which pricing type is to be used to update the document conditions. It may be that no full pricing needs to be performed for bonus-relevant fields, and that only new bonus conditions need to be redetermined. You can do this by entering the relevant pricing type for the corresponding field.
If no pricing type is available for the corresponding entry, the B pricing type is used automatically to evaluate the price change group.
Dependencies
When different fields with different pricing types are changed, the system automatically determines the pricing type with the highest redetermination rate.
- If fields with pricing type ' ' or B were changed, then new pricing is performed automatically, independently of all other entries.
- If fields with pricing type C were changed, then this setting is used automatically for pricing.
- If fields with pricing type H and I were changed, pricing type C is used for pricing.
- In other cases, pricing type H or I is used.
Example
In a document, you change settlement group 1 on item level of an agency document. As a rule, the settlement group is a pricing-relevant field for determining bonus conditions and therefore triggers redetermination of bonus conditions so that the bonus claim can be determined correctly. As a rule, no change to prices or taxes is necessary.
To achieve this system behavior, enter pricing type I for settlement group 1.
