Definition
Indicates the total net weight of the item.
The net weight is calculated as follows: gross weight minus weight of packaging (tare weight).
Use
The system calculates the net weight from the item order quantity and from the net weight proposed by the material master record.
You can manually change the value on the item level.
Dependencies
Example
The gross weight of a refrigerator including packaging (box and wadding) is 160 kg. The packaging has a total weight of 10 kg.
In this case, the net weight is 150 kg.
