Definition

Controls whether emails are sent to the vendor, when you release or create Internet releases.

Use

If you select the indicator, then emails will be sent to the corresponding vendors, when Internet releases are created or released.

Dependencies

To use this function, you must select the indicator Mail to vendor in the release creation profile on the tab page Internet.

Note

To generate emails the following prerequisites are necessary:

  • Your SAP System must be set up for sending external emails. See your system administration to find out if these technical requirements already exist.
  • On the tab page Internet, the indicator Mail to vendor must be selected.
  • In the relevant function for creating or releasing calls, the indicator Mail for Internet Release must be selected on the initial screen.
  • In the relevant scheduling agreement item, for which an Internet release is created, a valid email address must be defined.
  • In the current client, in message determination for application 'EM', a message record for medium '5' (send externally) is defined.
In the standard system, message type LPEM must be given for the application EM.
You must transfer the application and message type from delivery client '000' to your current client.
