Definition
Alphanumeric key which allows the systematic inclusion of the PRODCOM number for material and goods receipt statistics (WE95).
The nomenclature of goods for material and goods receipt statistics in the processing industry as well as in the mining and quarrying industry (WE95) represents a basic directory from which you can select industry-specific goods or materials (no services) and combine them to form lists of goods for individual branches of industry.
The WE95 is based on the statistical goods classification, introduced by an EU regulation, together with with the branches of industry, issue 1993 (CPA93). The systematic nomenclature of goods for production statistics, issue 1995 (GP95), is structured according to the CPA93, making it possible to use the alphabetic nomenclature of goods for production statistics (issue 1995) for material and goods receipt statistics as well.
