Documentation
Definition
The number with which an item can be found within a document or a list. The numbers are assigned sequentially when you enter a document or create a list.
Use
During inbound processing of the actual count data, the item number is used to identify the item in the physical inventory document.
The item number of the inventory document item is transferred into this field when during POS - outbound processing of physical inventory documents.
System Response
This field may be empty during POS - interface inbound processing of the count data. If the field is empty, the system automatically determines the inventory document item which matches the intermediate document item.
Dependencies
The field is only useful together with the fields IBLNR and GJAHR in the header segment. If both these fields are filled and the item number is empty, the respective inventory document item is only searched for in the specified physical inventory document.
Note
The item number of the physical inventory document has three digits and is numeric.
