Definition
Specifies the total quantity of a material to be packed for the Per part. qty and If full functions. The system takes this quantity from the corresponding document item quantity during document processing.
Use

- Pack function
The field has no effect for this function because the partial quantity field controls how much material can be packed in a handling unit, according to its weight and volume limits. - Per part. qty function

Total quantity = 6
- Pack function
No effect. Only the Part. qty field influences this function. A quantity of 2 is packed. - Per part. qty function
3 handling units, each with 2 pieces of the material, are generated. - If full function
New handling units are created until a total quantity of 6 pieces of the material have been packed.
