Definition
Specifies the status that the virus scan server should have in the CCMS monitoring.
Use
The following values are possible:
- NONE (no monitoring): The virus scan server is not monitored.
- ACTV (active on the application server): The virus scan server is monitored by the CCMS and started on the specified application server as required.
- INAC (inactive on the application server): The virus scan server is monitored by the CCMS and stopped on the specified application server if required.
- ACTS (active as self-starter): The virus scan server is monitored by the CCMS (if it is not available, an error status is triggered), but is not started or stopped by the CCMS. This status is suitable for a virus scan server that is, for example, started as a service at operating system level.
Dependencies
With the statuses NONE and INAC, this virus scan server can no longer be found by the system's automatic server selection.
The system's virus scan servers are displayed in the CCMS (transaction RZ20 in the "Virus Scan Servers" monitor of the "SAP CCMS Monitors for Optional Components" monitor set.
