Definition
If you select this checkbox, the editor does not modify the text in any way, but displays and stores it exactly as it was entered.
If you leave the checkbox blank, the editor converts the text to upper case - with the exception of strings and comments - and also stores it it in this way. Whether the text displayed on the screen is in upper or lower case depends on the editor mode you are currently using (you can change the mode by choosing Settings -> Editor mode... .
