Definition
Indicates whether the system issues a status message about data relevant
for distribution on the header or item screen of a sales document.
Use
If you include the distribution status in a certain status group by
selecting it, the system determines the status of the data relevant for
distribution by checking those fields that were assigned in the
incompletion procedure of the status group mentioned above. If there
is data missing from one or more of these fields, the status message
will indicate that the document data is completely or partially
incomplete.
This status is only valid for shipping documents.
Example
You can define that a delivery is incomplete (as far as distribution is concerned) if no route has been assigned to it. If the route is not entered during delivery processing, the system issues a corresponding status message.
