Definition
Controls the underdelivery tolerance check in make-to-order production (including multi-level).
Use
If there is a material shortage in MRP, the system checks whether the open requirement quantity is within the quantity allowed in the underdelivery tolerance. If it is, the open quantity is displayed as negative scrap and an exception reason is set.
Notes
- The quantity of the underdelivery tolerance is checked using the base unit of measure.
- The underdelivery percentage of the sales order item is also used for calculations in later planning stages.
- It is not possible to have a partial lot quantity that is smaller or equal to the underdelivery tolerance quantity.
