Definition
Use
If the indicator is set, all of a customers items that were posted in a dunning area for which there is currently a legal dunning procedure for the customer are excluded from Collections Management.
Dependencies
You can also exclude the complete customer from the collection segment concerned using the corresponding basic rule.
Example
The alternative used depends on the company structure and the collection strategy selected.
- If only one company code is assigned to the collection segment, but this is divided into several dunning areas, using the basic rule, you can suppress customer contact for as long as one of the dunning areas is in a legal dunning procedure.
- If several company codes are assigned to the collection segment, and there is no split into dunning areas, you can use the parameters in the strategy to completely exclude a company code that is in a legal dispute with the customer from Collections Management.
