Definition
Maximum amount a bill of exchange can be made out for if it is to be used in payment transactions with the business partner.
Use
The limit amount is taken into account for automatic bill of exchange payment transactions and bill of exchange payment requests. If the amount to be paid exceeds the limit stated here, several bill of exchange forms are generated. Each of these bills of exchange is made out for the maximum amount or less.
Limit amounts for bills of exchange are used, for example, in Spain.
