Definition
The search engines saves payment data in the main memory and thus enables faster access.
Use
This selection field only appears if you have defined parameters for the search engine in Customizing. In the settings you define
- From which date of creation payment data is available in the search engine
- Whether archived data is also available there
Dependencies
In the search engine you can only find payments from lots that have already been closed. The administrator must also transfer the data to the search engine regularly.
Recommendation
If you have activated the search engine and are looking for payments that must have been entered a few days ago, use the search engine. If you are looking for current data, for example, payments entered today, and you cannot find the payments using the search engine, you may want to carry out the search again without the search engine. In this case the system searches in the current database tables.
