Definition

You can use this indicator to control whether the key date valuation generates clearing flows for offsetting changes in equity capital.

• If you set the indicator (X), the clearing flows are generated.
• If you do not set the indicator (' '), no clearing flows are generated.

Example:

A classification previously generated an increase in equity for a position. The equity for the same position is then reduced. This decrease is greater than the previous increase. If the indicator is set, the system generates the following two flows:

• a clearing flow for the amount of the original increase
• a write-down flow for the difference between the original increase and the current decrease in equity.

Prerequisites

• You need to define an update type for the clearing flow.
• You need to control the individual flows in account determination.
