Documentation
Use
SAPterm categorizes terminology concepts by entry class. Entry classes serve as search attributes, filter terms for internal and external use, and mark which terms are translated under which circumstances.
Example
Currently, SAPterm supports the following entry classes:
- A System text (must be translated into all languages)
- B Documentation text (translated into selected languages)
- P Internal entry (translate as necessary; not shipped to customers)
- N Proper name, subdivided further into:
- 1 SAP product name
- 2 Other product name
- 3 Technical name (such as ABAP report names and ABAP commands)
For further information, please refer to the SAP Library documentation BC - Terminology and Glossary (SAPterm) -> Maintenance Dialog: Maintain Entry -> Entry Classes.
