With this calendar the prompt dates are defined. The prompt date is the settlement date of a futures contract.

The LME prompt date for a cash trade is two business days forward, so the last date an open position can be closed is two business days before prompt. For more information, see the trading calendar on the LME portal (http://www.lme.com).
