Definition

Payment date of the payoff, on which the gross payoff amount is to be paid.

The payment date of the payoff shows the calendar date, on which the payment of the gross payoff amount is made by the payer of the payoff, if necessary taking account of bank public holiday rules.

However, if the due date is a different date to the payment date and proportional payments exist, note that the payment date for the proportional payments needs to be shifted to the default payment date explicitly, using the Deferral from field. (The Deferral from field must contain the date that is entered as the due date for the payoff)

Dependencies

You need to consider the following dependencies:

• When you create a payoff the system automatically enters the due date as default for the payoff payment date.
• The system checks the payoff payment date against the specified bank working day calendar and if necessary displays a message referring to the adjustment of the payment date.
