Definition
The indicator controls the behavior of the system for the background processing of deliveries when change management is active and the central system cannot be reached, or if change management has been temporarily deactivated via the emergency switch.
The indicator is only significant in the decentralized system.
Use
- If the indicator is set to 'A': On processing a document, change management is switched off conclusively for this document in the decentralized system when you save the document. The distribution status of the document changes to 'F' (this change is made subsequently in the central system, as soon as it is available again).
The document can only be changed in the decentralized system if it has distribution status 'F'. On confirmation to the central system during goods movement posting, no changed delivery data is transmitted to the central system other than the latest quantity information. - Set the indicator to ' ', if you want to make it impossible to change documents in the decentralized system for as long as the central system is unavailable, or for as long as change management is temporarily switched off. This setting is the default setting.
