Definition
If required in the material master record, the system routinely carries out the confirmation of batches that are found in the WM component back to PP/PP-PI orders. This takes place for pick parts with dynamic storage bins.
In this case, there is a clear assignment between the batches and the orders assigned by the system. If you carry out staging for pick parts with fixed production storage bins that are defined in the control cycle, there is no clear assignment "order to batch found" since such a storage bin supplies materials to several production orders.
For cases such as this, this indicator controls whether the batches found in WM will be confirmed back to the production orders.
Caution: If quantity reduction takes place for the production storage bin when the system generates a transfer order for material staging, no batches will be confirmed back to the production orders.
