Definition
This field contains the aisle coordinate of the storage bin.
Use
The storage bins in a storage type can be numbered based on shelves or aisles. If they are numbered by shelves, the coordinate is different for the shelves on the right and left sides of an aisle (usually a difference of one). If they are numbered by aisles, the coordinate on the left and right of the aisle is the same.
The system always considers numbering by (rows of) shelves. Since it is important for strategy K which shelves are in an aisle, an aisle number must be assigned to each shelf. If the storage type is numbered by aisles, you do not need to make an entry in the customizing table "Define strategy near picking bin".
If there is no entry in this table for a shelf, strategy K assumes that the storage type is numbered by aisles and recognizes it as the aisle for the storage bin.
