Definition

For picking strategies, you can selectively round requested quantities in transfer order items. You can switch on quantity rounding with this indicator. You define the rounding quantity itself in the material master record at the storage type level.

Quantity rounding is meaningful in combination with picking strategy "M" (large/small quantity). For example, if you want to pick pallet quantities, carton quantities or individual quantities from a chain of three storage types, you can accomplish this by defining the rounding quantity and control quantity in the material master record.
