Definition
Means that for IM postings a dialog box is displayed in which you can enter the goods receipt number or the palletization data from the WM system.
Use
Entering X in this field is only appropriate if you are releasing material from quality inspection (posting change) in the Inventory Management system. The system then displays a dialog box in which you reference a goods receipt number from the WM system. In this way, quants can be proposed in the WM system that refer to a particular goods receipt.
Entering 1 (palletization window) in this field is only appropriate if you have a goods receipt posting and the column TR (create transfer requirement for material document) is marked. In the displayed dialog box, you can enter the number of storage units, the stock placement quantity for each storage unit and the storage unit type. This data is then copied into the transfer requirement and from there adopted in the transfer order. This functionality can be used in particular with the automatic transfer order creation procedure.
During the GR transaction MIGO, no palletization dialog box appears, but there is a palletization tab page. This field decides whether the palletization data entered there are to be included in the transfer requirement.
